Who operates SeeJewel
SeeJewel is a Techabys product operated by Hashir Khan in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. Contact connect@techabys.com for privacy questions, complaints, access, correction or deletion requests. Each participating jeweller also manages the customer enquiries collected through its own showroom.
Account information
We collect your selected customer or jeweller account type, name, city and verified email to provide the appropriate account experience. Completing a customer profile requires your name, phone number and city. Jeweller onboarding collects business and owner names, phone, city, state, showroom address, PIN code, business description and optional BIS registration details. Completed, opted-in public business profiles, showroom contact details and uploaded business branding are visible publicly. Product listings become public after platform approval. Owner login details are not part of the public showroom profile. We record usage events, IP addresses, browser information and security logs to operate the service, limit abuse and investigate problems.
Google and email sign-in
You can sign in with Google or a code sent to your email. We use the verified email and basic identity to secure your account; we do not request access to Gmail, Drive or contacts. Email codes and encrypted sign-in flow cookies expire after 10 minutes. We store keyed code hashes, Terms acceptance and a normalised mailbox identity to reduce repeat trial claims. Verification messages are sent through Hostinger from seejewel@techabys.com. New verified jewellers receive 10 one-time image credits. Customer accounts receive five one-time personal trial images for designs outside registered collections. Registered-catalogue try-ons are free to customers and use that jeweller’s credits. Customer credits cannot be purchased in this release.
Booking and customer records
When you send a booking request, we collect your name, phone, address, city, PIN code, optional notes, selected product and confirmation of the booking terms. The selected jeweller receives these details to respond, confirm a quote and arrange a visit, collection or delivery. Your account can display the request and its status; authorised staff for that jeweller and platform support can access the record. We do not collect customer card details or jewellery payments in this release. A public storefront also records the visitor contact details and consent entered before try-on.
Try-on photographs
When you request a try-on, your selected photo and the jewellery reference are processed to generate a preview. The upload, result and try-on history are stored under the relevant showroom so you and authorised showroom staff can review them. Optional image adjustments and sizing references support the preview. Photo processing details are also presented before generation; browsing does not require an upload.
Your choices
Accepting the try-on notice and photo processing consent is required to use generation. Promotional contact is a separate, optional choice and is off by default. You can withdraw marketing permission in My looks → Edit details & permissions or email us. Declining marketing does not prevent try-on. If you do not want photo processing, do not upload or generate a look; you can still browse the catalogue.
Providers and international processing
SeeJewel is hosted on Hostinger, with a PostgreSQL database and private object storage. Virtual AR tracking runs on your own device; camera frames and photos used for Virtual AR are not uploaded. Google Gemini receives the selected customer and product photos to generate a try-on. These providers may process data outside India. SeeJewel does not use your photos to train its own models. Google’s processing and limited safety retention are governed by its applicable Gemini API terms.
Photo access and sharing
Photos are held in a private bucket and accessed through expiring signed links. Authorised staff for the relevant showroom can see customer details and saved results. Platform administrators can access accounts for support; this access is recorded. Photos are not published in a public gallery. Anyone you send a result or signed image link to may view it while available and may download a copy, so share carefully. Upload processing removes embedded image metadata such as GPS coordinates.
Cookies and saved looks
Essential first-party cookies keep signed-in customers and jewellers authenticated, secure provider sign-in flows and associate storefront visitors with saved looks in the current browser. Registered customer profiles can be linked to their relevant showroom records. Guest saved-look access depends on the browser cookie; a phone number alone cannot recover a gallery. Clearing cookies or changing browser can remove guest access. The cookie controls distinguish essential authentication and security cookies from optional preferences, analytics and marketing. Optional categories are off until selected; a versioned consent receipt records your choices. Enabling an optional category does not itself connect an advertising or analytics provider. Separately, SeeJewel counts page opens without cookies: the page address, the referring site or app, the device type and a code that changes daily are recorded; no IP address, name or account is stored, and visits cannot be linked across days. Google Analytics runs only if you allow analytics.
Retention and deletion
Personal-trial originals, jewellery reference images and generated results are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. The SeeJewel showroom also schedules original uploads and generated photos for deletion after 30 days. Other jewellers can configure the period shown in their try-on notice. Background cleanup may be delayed while a job is active or a provider is unavailable. Account profiles, booking contact and address details, request statuses, consent receipts, enquiries, billing records and security logs are retained separately; the photo cleanup does not delete these records. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion review. Photo deletion removes active storage copies and makes their links unavailable. Previously downloaded copies, provider safety records and provider-managed backups may follow separate periods.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it, withdraw consent you have given, nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and raise a grievance. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.
Access, correction and complaints
Email connect@techabys.com with the showroom name and the information you want to access, correct or delete. Avoid emailing a selfie unless we specifically need it. We may ask for proportionate verification before releasing or deleting someone’s information. You can withdraw optional marketing consent at any time. We will explain any information that must be retained for an applicable legal obligation or an unresolved dispute.
Grievance officer

Eligibility and safety
Try-on is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Upload only your own adult photo, or an adult photo you have permission to process. Do not upload children’s photos, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information. We use access controls, encrypted connections, private storage and rate limits, but no online service is completely risk-free.
Changes to this policy
Updated 8 October 2026. Material changes to the storefront processing notice receive a new consent version and require acknowledgement before further try-on. Contact us if anything is unclear.
